When you donate to TFT, you provide popular education workshops that bring together those most affected by economic injustice in Tennessee to develop solutions through advocacy, grassroots organizing, and community outreach. You provide a strong case to the Tennessee state legislature that progressive tax reform is supported and needed in our state. Most of all, you provide support to working Tennesseans who pay higher tax rates than the wealthy and corporations. Your gift addresses an underlying social injustice in our state to help break the cycle of poverty, income inequality, unemployment, and overcome obstacles to quality education and accessible health care for those with low- and middle incomes, the sick, the young, the elderly, and single parents. Tennesseans for Fair Taxation (TFT) is supported by the generous donations from people just like you who care about the future of the communities they live in from Memphis to Mountain City. As individuals, our influence is limited, but when we work together, we can make real and positive change in Tennessee. Anyone who contributes is considered a member for one year from their last donation. All contributions to TFT are tax-deductible.
