Knoxville Fundraiser a BIG Success
With Sen. Rochelle coming to East Tennessee
in October, Knoxville TFT members helped coordinate a series of engagements
for the Senator with the Oak Ridge League of Women Voters, Knoxville Area Chamber
Partnership, and at UT (drawing 150 faculty, staff, and students).
TFT took advantage of Sen. Rochelle's visit
to organize a fundraiser as well. TFT Board Member John Stewart MC-ed the event
with Rep. Joe Armstrong giving the introduction for Sen. Rochelle. The fundraiser
clearly was a big success, drawing over 75 people and raising well over $3,000
(contributions are still coming in).
